This poster is a limestone cliff in Gotland, Sweden next to a golden grass field in a cloudy day. In Gotland, there's a type of landform that's called rauks which develop near cliffs, which have a specific name Hoburgen in this case. Hoburgen is formed from limestone (a kind of sedimentary rock) by erosion in a vertical direction on coasts, and is abundant throughout the island. Precisely, this is a scree slope at the base of a cliff as formed by coastal erosion. Limestone cliff consists of vertical or near-vertical exposures of bedrock, which typically support less than 25% vascular plant coverage, although some rock surfaces can be densely covered with lichens, mosses, and liverworts.  Gotland is made up of a range of sedimentary rocks since a long time ago. Sedimentary rocks cropping out in Gotland were deposited in a shallow, hot and salty sea, on the edge of an equatorial continent. In this area, golden grass grows into a large field which brings a beautiful vast space. The yellow color of the grass totally stands out in this image. It's the symbol of serenity in the countryside but also the cheerfulness and brightness. This image of limestone cliff next to grass field helps you to feel calmed in the simplest way.
