This poster is an abstract digital illustration created by spots mimicking bokeh on a dark blue background. Bokeh is usually associated with out-of-focus points of light that are blurred when we use a camera. However, besides highlights, other areas that are outside the depth of field of a photo can also create bokeh. The term “bokeh" got its name from japanese word “boke" which means “blur". And we can form blurred spots by using digital tools, as in this poster. The artist here putted spots with different sizes, different opacities and different tones. These spots range from big size ones with the same color as the background to small ones with the color of light. Especially, their density makes them look like bubbles and light under the surface of the ocean. Thus, this illustration of bokeh on a dark blue background turns to an interesting abstract picture. It requires a quite simple depiction but expresses beyond.
